(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The title pretty much says it all. This late into BF4 is it worth buying Premium or just getting the DLC separately?

I already own China rising. I got that for free with BF4. So I'm only missing the Naval one and the Second Assault which comes out to 30USD where as the premium is 50USD.

I know with the premium I get some guns, some camos, some knives, and a few other things.

With BF:H coming out (which I think is just a filler until BF:5 comes out) I might get it (BF:H) but I'm not 100% on it, as it looks like it could've just been DLC for BF4.

I'm looking for thoughts from those of you who have just bought the DLC individually, and those of you who have bought the Premium.

So that's what I thought, there's 'Awesome faceragon's Teeth' and 'Final Stand' yet to go.

So with Naval Strike, Second Assault, Dragons Teeth, and Final Stand, all at $15 a piece, that's more than Premium costs, not including the perks of premium.

Looks like I'm buying premium.

Big battlefield fan here. I was in the battlefield hardline beta and I was just underwhelmed. It's not cops and robbers it's basically a more complicated version of obliteration and it feels exactly like Battlefield. Maybe if the game was smaller and more focused like 8 v 8 idk.

As for buying premium, you have to look at it like an investment. Battlefield is a 2 year development cycle so there's still gonna be some time before the next one comes out. If you're gonna get really hooked into some other game before then and not really come back to Battlefield 4, then I wouldn't buy it if I were you. But if you're like me and still planning on playing battlefield than yeah, go for it.

This is exactly my thoughts articulated. I do plan to play Battlefield 4. I'm having alot of fun with it, and more and more of my friends list is giving up on COD thus switching to BF.

Hardline doesn't amuse me. I'm sure I'll get Hardline and play it, but I'm pretty much set on Premium for BF4 I think. Those battlepacks will be sweet.

The way most servers are you need a particular expansion pack to play on them, if that pack does not interest you then you get zero use of it.

That being said I buy premium, and still would at this time, because when I do play a game it is usually battlefield. To buy another game that won't get played because I go back to BF makes less sense than expanding the game I do play. Yes it is priced at the same amount as another game but I still get more replay value out of it than I would another game.

As for Hardline it does not interest me at all. But I know others that are interested. If you can only buy one game a year get Hardline or you will be wondering about it all the time. If you can afford 2 games a year get the premium as you know you will use it and also get Hardline.

Affording it is not a problem. With two more expansion packs coming, it's cheaper to buy Premium than it is to buy the packs one by one. I already have China Rising due to a promo from Launch, which still leaves 4 to be obtained.

At 15 dollars a pop, that's 60 dollars. Premium is 10.01 dollars cheaper. Plus there's all the bonus premium content, and battle packs.
