What CFW are you using?

You can split the pkg file with PSN Stuff (it is one of the tabs) into smaller pieces then use multiMan's install pkg files to install it as it supports split pkg files.

As for filezilla I set mine to a max of 2 connections to fix those errors, on the PS3 side I use the CCAPI FTP plugin or multiMan's FTP server depending on whether I have my external plugged in or not. If you are running DEX you can also transfer files with target manager.

I had the same problems with all my psnstuff games. Since my computer is no where close to my ps3, all I did was i took an ethernet cable and connected it from my laptop to ps3 and i set it up with the link vivas700 gave. It works all the time and it is fast since it direct connection.
