Will there be any save editors being released soon? I'm fine with grinding out for an hour or two but sometimes you just want to speed up the process

Edit: It's now September and I'd like to see what people think now, I understand that modding online would likely become an issue but most people who mod seem to get banned pretty quickly. The best part about modding GT5 was all the swaps possible and with the features jailbroken PS3's have with Farsides tool is amazing I'd just like that on OFW. So do any modders think a tool will be coming? Since all GT6 has left is Course Maker (probably not coming) amd Vision GT's.

A save editor can be made, it is a question of if some one wants to release one or not.

There are problems with releasing a save editor for this game. If one is made that just hacks money a different technique needs to be used as the CFW method requires you to run a race after the edit and before saving. There is another method I found at the very beginning that does not require racing or selling a vehicle and it removes the $50M limit as well that would work in a save editor.
When the save editor gets released it is almost guaranteed to be pulled apart by leeches so a limited one will not work (CISC is far easier to reverse than RISC) as it would not stay that way for long.

So will one get released soon? Yes. If you use the same measurement of soon as PDI did for the release date of GT5 following the release of Prologue.

I hope it only comes after GT6 life has finished, OFW modding save games will just get too wide spread. GT5 all over again.

I understand where you're coming from, people who used save editors in GT5 for dumb reasons such as thinking they're "cool" just because they think their VTEC civic has 3000hp are just straight up annoying and they ruined the game.

If it only does money and gold trophies in races and licences, yes.

If it does car modding, hell no. I guess a lot of us don't want to see GT5 coming back.

I don't even will talk about all Cruise , meet / Higway pulls full of cars with 2000hp 4x4 and Red bull sound and slammed inrealisticly , Of course that are OFW users doing it..... (GT6) you guys could stop being selfish and if you guys don't want things like gt5 could be possible to do Ofw editor with sound swap and turbos made by SiNiST3R that could reach 1000hp at max and drivertain swaps and the money thing , that would make OFW user happier.

Just don't put HP slider in the tool and no problem, that's all. Just sound swap, turbo, rims , suspensions swap, gearbox swap and parts remover if possible, it allow us to make cool cars.

Agreed. As an OFW user myself, I'd be fully content with just those few features. Especially swapping sounds and suspension.

agreed. but the only reason gt5 got messed up is because of little kids and stupid teenagers who think having a overly souped up car with 99999hp is cool. if a save editor were to come out, it should only have legit swaps etc and no hp modifiers. and leave the redbull chasis and engine out of the swaps option. the only redbull engine that should be in there is the redbull junior since it does sound cool. and if the maker of a save editor decides not to release it, i wouldnt blame them. better to be safe than sorry. id say make a thread specifically for requests for car swaps and other things like paint etc.
