1. What is farming?
2. What are engrams?
3. Glimmer?
4. What are spinmetal leaves for?

And if you guys have any tips on anything that is helpful please comment your help is appreciated thanks

1.Doing something over and over again for a profit, kind of like actual farming
2.Drops from enemies, ranging from Uncommon>Rare>Legendary>Exotic, can be decrypted by the cryptarch in the tower
3.Destiny's currency
4.You can sell them in the tower by the crucible master

What can you get by farming? And what can you do with engrams... Like what is that uncommon, rare, legendary, and exotic?

Glimmer and engrams are teh basic things you can get. And those are the rankings for the engrams Uncommon meaning the item when its decrypted will be uncommon, and so forth.

I still don't get the uncommon thing? Lol

1. You kill the biggest group of enemies as fast as you can and die and repeat the process to get more drops as fast as you can. But if you find a big group and can't kill them fast it's not as efficient.
2. Engrams are drops that you redeem for gear, weapons, class armor, motes of light, and strange coins.
3. Glimmer is the game currency which is kind of pointless at high levels. You need it to upgrade gear and buy guns, engrams, ships, sparrows, etc. You will get more glimmer than you will spend on upgrades.
4. Spin metal, helium, iron relic, and spirit bloom you need to upgrade legendary and exotic gear. Or you can trade 50 in for 25 vanguard/crucible reputation, 5 marks, and 400 glimmer.

Each engram will tell you the potential to what it can give you. Uncommon means you will find those more often, hence the "uncommon" name, Exotic is the most rare.

u also don't have to pick up the blue or purple engrams pick up the green and when u go back to the tower the postmaster will have the blue and purple it saves me room and more parts
