A common misconception that I am also guilty of, is that the Activision/Bungie contract is for a 10 year franchise, not a 10 year game lifespan - so Destiny might not have to be dragged out for the entirety of 10 years (which we all know isn't a feasible idea).

Apparently our stats will be able to be transferred to the sequel (Rumor, no source). IMO "Destiny 2" doesn't have a good ring to it, it'll surely need a better name.

If this is true the name would probably "Destiny _____" like "Killzone Shadow Fall." You're right, "Destiny 2" just doesn't sound right.

If this is true I hope for a more immerse campaign/story, a bigger fireteam size, and for the love of god more SOLO capable missions. It's as if you don't have a squad of level 28+ friends you can't get anything done in this game.
