(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Somebody please say this is somehow obtainable? The images are from the course folder in the GT.VOL, and like all the other playable tracks it has a background track loading image, which is the bottom one, the others are track selection thumbnails.

The track was briefly featured in the GT6 NSX Concept video.

Oh god it looks sick.

Hope it can be somehow loaded, who knows, maybe can be done in MP aswell, would be cool to ride there with buddies.

Btw, any chances Seattle is there aswell ?

EDIT: Tried to open my GT.VOL with the tool, for some reason i can't get it to open. :(

What did you do? I placed the tool and vol file at c: \

then loaded up command prompt and entered c: \gttool.exe, then extracted it to my chosen destination. I tried loading the game with the .vol unpacked but i get a black screen. :(

Gonna retry with both in same folder, i tried to drag n' drop the vol file on the GTTool.exe, maybe it doesn't work like it.

Gonna re-extract the vol from my hard drive aswell, lel

No it is a command line tool, you have to give a source and destination on the command line. Files like the data base are encrypted again inside it.
The texture files are in a format that I can convert to dds but I can't convert back so no go on a livery editor until that is done.

Nice find on the track, I only looked at the dbase and texture files. But being 23 gb unpacked it will take awhile to go through it all.

Managed to get it working, thanks to both !

Took a look at the files, noticed a lot of unused tracks (Infineon, Yosemite, Nurburgring Snow and a shitload of rally things), maybe we're able to make then bootable and playeable?

EDIT: Did anyone manage to open the img files? Tried with 3 diff' tools, getting corrupted data error.

There's a texture tool on page 5 of that Xentax gt6 model forum that extracts most of the .img files, you also need a dds plugin for Photoshop to view them.

Img file tool, drag and drop:

somebody else posted some source code to extract some other files but it needs compiling, which I haven't got a clue about.
