But I have not seen anyone attempt it, and that's either because it can't be done or nobody has even bothered to try.

Is it possible? Can somebody attempt it?
I mostly wanted to be able to get the Assault Rifle early instead of at the last level.

I don't think it is possible.
You'll have to just do a second run of the game if you want all the weapons.

The game doesn't work like that. When you restart the game you have to collect them through the game again.

It should be possible to memory edit the extra weapons into your inventory at an earlier part of the game.
Has anybody tried it?

It can be done with Nailbombs, Molotovs and Smoke bombs, that I know.
But I haven't seen anyone attempt the guns.

Does anyone wanna give it a shot?

I was able to get Ellie's pistol into Joel's inventory via a glitch.


(This works on PS3 and PS4)

Ergo it should be possible to add other weapons by memory editing.
