Ok thank's for letting me know.
Sadly i don't have dex installed so i couldn't test it.
What you could try is to use the cex eboot. it should work. The Dex resigning of the eboot i did for DEX orig Firmware, so maybe that's why it's not working.
Or try the fix from trunk208's You must login or register to view this content..

Cex NPUB31419 eboot is confirmed working.
I tested it myself.
So there must be something wrong on your side.
Evrything what you said here is correct.
First update and than put eboot.bin in npub31419/usrdir and overwrite the orig one.
Just try again, maybe some crc file errors while the ftp transfer from pc-->ps3.
