(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm talking about photo mode and photo travel modes, it's so frustrating that they continue to pen the user in and block us from taking interior car shots in photo travel, even after the GT5 interior glitch was popular they still didn't add the option. There must be a way to right this wrong by editing the photoviewer file?

Maybe loading the photo location as a playable track would do the trick? Some of these places are pretty big, even if they are limited. :p

Those are clipping through the car, in GT5 you could break through the set boundaries and move the camera around inside the car or take your car out of the environment for studio style shots

I tried to find the camera stuff before but I could only get the camera to stick in the centre of the environments.

If it's not too much trouble could Farside or qk have a quick look?

I've never looked into that. But in my imagination, there are only two possible scenarios for this:

If you're lucky, some files (of the photomode stuff) will have hard coded boundary boxes (as 3D coordinates). This would mean to look into all files that are loaded up for photomode and check them all (and most probably reverse engineer their file format).

If you're not so lucky, these boundary boxes will be determined by the car size itself. I'd expect this to be true, these boundary boxes should be dynamic - depending on the car size. IIRC, we've seen some boundary boxes attached to car data while inpecting 3D Model Data of cars. If these boxes are really used for photomode, they could be minimized. But as well totally break the game (as for collision detection) I guess.

And bare in mind, for all of this to work.. You will need knowledge about which files you'd have to manipulate. And how to find them in PDIPFS. And whatnot..

As said, I've never looked into it. But if all is working like I imagine it does, it will be hard and long work to get beyond the boundaries.. Plus, I'm not interested in helping out about all crypto magic that PD is running.

Damn, I remember taking such nice interior pics in GT5 that were eye popping. The level of detail it's absurd we can't look at all of it close up.
