How do you specifically use this? Can I use this on a non jailbroken ps3?

If it requires CCAPI or TMAPI it is only able to be used with a jailbreak. Most "tools" require jailbreak.

Most recent tools require CFW..
But what about in the Mw2 days where we had a patch blocker program / tool.

Also a recent "tool" that didn't require cfw was the cid sniffer for ofw 4.66

All RTM tools require CFW but not all ps3 tools.
