You can update it manually by going You must login or register to view this content. and type in the Minecraft Game ID (ex. NPUB31419) then click find updates then download that pkg. Put it in ur usb and plug into the PS3 then install packages file.

Still if u cant find the 1.17 update then u got to wait for it. Since I realize that the updates from US and EU is different because EU updates first then for US is like relase next week after the EU releases.

When I update it keeps telling me to update to 1.17 help.
