To use these codes is actually pretty simple You need to decrypt the eboot (I'd suggest using True Ancestor's Self Resigner) then once you have the EBOOT.ELF open that in a HEX editor hit Ctrl+F to open up the search window, change the box to search for Hex Values, and then you will put in the OGP. Once you find the OGP, you will replace the entire line of code with the COP line of code. Once you've done that, save the file, place it in the make_fself folder, open that folder and with the mouse hand inside the folder, hold Shift, then Right Click and select Open Command Prompt Window. Once that is open, type "make_fself EBOOT.ELF EBOOT.BIN" without the quotations.
