Yeah, the Dark Zone is the best place to get the best gear. At Level 30, it's easiest to get a squad of 4 and go up in DZ05-DZ06 and farm the bosses (elites with names over their heads). Or, for fast and cheap Superior items, you can do all of the Side Missions in a district and talk to the JTF Officer at the district's safe house. Though, these craftables aren't nearly as good as the things you get from the Dark Zone or what you get from bosses.
