(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Today I was browsing my YouTube homepage and came across a video titled de_infernew, which someone designed with changes to Inferno to fix a lot of it's issues. After watching it, not only does the map look a lot nicer and a lot less claustrophobic, the map seems to be a lot more balanced (though many argue some of these changes actually tip the scales over to T side). A change I liked in particular was the widening of Banana (body-blocking was tons of fun here), and the merge of darkroom and bedroom in apartments (to be honest I'd be ok with the complete removal of darkroom).

I just thought it was interesting and I thought I'd share it here, maybe you guys could leave what you think on it. :p

Meh, it's hard to adjust to changes when you've played a certain map so long, but change is good. So I'm all for it.

Meh, I'm kinda 50/50 on it tbh. I like the changes to banana, although most of the changes mean i'm going to have to spend hours in a private server on inferno just to get my grenades lined up again. Especiall with dark/bedroom wall being removed. It could be good though, just have to play it out and see.

I feel the same way. At this point I'm so accustom to the current Inferno map especially banana. If this comes to various pug services and matchmaking I reckon I'll have to do a once over on it. I understand widening it but am I the only one who thinks it might be a bit too wide? I mean as the new one is now you could probably double awp banana CT side and still shut it down.

double awp ct side would be brutal especially if you got the ct economy rolling. it would shut down t ramp bottom mid and banana with another awp in apps the maps shutdown completely
