because my method worked also but it was more difficult.

First Download and install -snip- *then open it and Click on Tools-->Console-->Archives

Now enter The Path where ur MediaPS3.arc is located And an Output location

Now just Go to ur Output location and edit the textures u want they just have to be in the same size
If u want custom Splashes u need to download*You must login or register to view this content. and set the Coding to UTF-8 without BOM
then edit it and save it

Now just Click Pack and its Done. Just copy your MediaPs3.arc back to ur PS3 and Enjoy ur new Textures

By the way everything else seems to work just the change skin option that's all but I didn't look at it further try looking and see if anything else in the settings freezes thank you
