(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hi, i am trying to make more youtube videos for my friends and i. However, i am having trouble recording my own voice. I use wondershare to convert the videos to .avi then i use camtasia to mix the video with my voice that i record separately with audicity. The problem is, that since im recording separately and the microphone is close to the tv it also catches the noise coming out of the tv which makes the sounds repeat twice in the video. how can i fix this?

Turn your TV volume down, or buy headsets. Which is something you should have invested in when you bought your HDPVR.

Depends on your price range $20 to $60 one is fine. You can go up to $200 but the sound difference on a console is limited.
Most YTers have a separate mic system to the headset one depends what you want to do.
