So first of all, apologies if this is in the wrong section, or if my questions have already been answered elsewhere, i tried looking.

I have seen lots of mods on this site regarding recent games like Call of Duty Ghosts, or anything, that basically allows you to cheat online (wallhack, and the likes). And they got me intrigued, except, i'm completely out of the loop on how i would even start on using them.

I own a PS3 Super Slim, it's updated to the latest official version, i have never (jailbroken?) my PS3. And yet here i am, really wanting to use these mods to give me an edge.

So what i'm basically asking is, how do i even start with using the mods ?, surely it cant be that simple as to just download it and somehow magically connect it ?.

- Is there any way i can download mods/hacks without having to jailbreak my ps3 ?
- Do i need to jailbreak my ps3 before i am able to use mods/hacks and play online, if so, where do i even start ?

Most games you will need a CFW for but on some games such as Mw2, W@W, COD 4 all you need is a usb, but if you want to mod new games such as Ghosts then you need a CFW.

So if you want to jailbreak then you would need to have a certain type of model PS3, as some don't work, and to actually jailbreak you would need to buy a e3 flasher or buy one offline, and jailbreaks are going for alot cheaper atm as next gen consoles are coming out soon.
