Post: Bricked PS3 ? (DEX Rebug 4.30)

Updated IDPS to read as Retail (not dex)
went into rebug tools, and went into rebug mode (required restart)
now it wont show a display.
Powers on, no beeps, no errors , light is green not red.
thoughts ideas? :embarrassed:
edit: alright so i can get into the recovery menu for the ps3, since im not certain which FW it is reading (CEX or DEX) would rebug REX be the way to go with this or use the downgrader?
edit2:
system does not appear to recognize rebug 999 downgrade or 4.30 rebug rex edition. suppose a OFW 3.55 would be my best bet?

if you want to install firmware it has to be dex so d-rex rebug fyi if your not getting no beeps n light is green how it should be its not bricked

thank you for the response.. just downloaded 3.55 OFW and was fixing to load that ..
d-rex and will update
Edit: System Update recognizes D-REX and prepping to install.
Edit 2: System Update applied, and up and running.
Thank you for assistance.. very well may have just saved my box from being bricked

you wont be able to install cex ofw i dont think so but u can try it if that dont work then just try install d-rex 4.30 or 4.46 but a simple restart of your ps3 again should fix the output issue your ps3 should need to reinstall firmware just cuz you changed idps
