(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello,

I broke my fan connector so i opened my ps3 all the way to the mother board and fixed it. I put everything back to its place but not in the case, just like that. It worked nicely so I turned my PS3 off while I took shower.

Once I came back I placed everything back into the case and then everything fucked up.

Fan started spinning like crazy for 5 sec and then PS3 turned off. It was plugged in to the power but I could barely see the red light. Once i turn it on the green light lights up fully but PS3 makes no sound (fan is not turning on and blu ray doesn't try to run the disk). After around 15 sec of doing nothing the PS3 beeps 3 times and red light starts flashing (still hard to see). This PS3 gave me so much trouble ever since I got it so please if anyone got solution to fixing this, I will appreciate it greatly.

PS. Its CECH 2003A, Motherboard is DYN-001

DYN-001 again lol same problem as me fan connector had broken and it worked for a few days and now spins for 7 seconds then stops. Only solution is soldering the fan connector again or you will need to get those modded fans where it shows out your PS3 with a USB wire.

Damn i soldered the fan at like 4pm and it broke at 7pm. I looked at the connection and it looks good.
What do you mean by 'those modded fans where it shows out your PS3 with a USB wire.'? The PS3 is not even trying to start the fan. All it does is just light up the green light and that's it. Got my GTA V disk stuck in blu ray and it wont come out since PS3 beeps like there is no disk inside (no worries i will get it out soon).

hope that was your issue, i know when soldering at some times you can blow the motherboard curciuts and get the YLOD, or even various cases of it too. (happened to me)
