ive tried PS3UPATE, PS3UPDAT and none of them worked it ethier came up as an 8002FC5 ERROR or "No applicable update data was found. Connect storage media that contains update data of version 4.50 or later, and then press the START and SELECT buttons at the same time. This is really pissing me off and i need Help quick thanks

did you use the PS3 tools for 4.50? you need to install 4.50 CFW amigo try that
if your heart is set on being on 3.55 then do this

4.50CFW>Rogero 3.55 Downgrader>QA flag>Rogero 3.55 v3.7> afterwards install any CFW you like

Before you do the step ahead check if you downloaded a good PUP file make sure you extract with winrar?

Just quickly, did you use the 4.50 Downgrade Patcher?
This will allow you to restore your PS3 to the minimum firmware it came with. just hope its below 3.55
Once u patch the PS3, the PS3 will say install firmware x.xx and so u should install OFW 3.55. After thats complete, install any CFW u please
