(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok I have a new ps3 and my old ps3 .the story begins like this .so I had the ps3 fat first.when the jailbreak for the 3.55 came out I took it and did it. then I decided to upgrade to a bigger hdd to a 500 gb.but then they patched it so I got stuck with the error everytime I tried to update via usb folder ps3/update .and my old hdd ps3 that actually worked got formatted so im stock in safe mode and cant upload the newest firmware on the ps3. and yes I have tried with brand new hdd n nothing, I know is not the hdd ,is the patch 3.56 v1 n v2 that they came out with that I cant seem to update it to the latest one now with a new hdd ,So please what could I do. n no calling sony is not an option . I have tried ,they wont fix my ps3

If its in 3.56. DOWNGRADE , seems like the Only Option at this Point.

If it's stuck on 3.56, no jailbreaks will work. They patched it and now only 3.55's can host mods, like you said. You are going to either A, buy an e3 flasher and downgrade (there are many tutorials on youtube) or B, buy a console that is on 3.55. An e3 flasher is cheaper but has more of a risk.
