IThinkALot--, this is just a suggestion, but perhaps it would be helpful to others who are viewing your post if you were to give a little detail about what specific cheats for what specific game you are looking to apply cheats to.

For example if you want a specific cheat for a specific game like for the latest Black Ops game, or something else to that effect, then you could perform a search either on these forums through the threads in the PS3 area under game saves, or modded game saves.

Plus there is also Google. Just search for something like Black Ops modded save ps3 (or whatever title of game you want). You can also try out You must login or register to view this content. and check to see if anyone has posted any of their game saves there for the game you are looking for under the PS3 section.

If you want to know how to use and apply cheats to your game saves, it is very easy to do. Your PS3 doesn't even need to be modified in order for you to do it.

You can either go to ps3cheating.net or aldostools.org and get the latest update of Bruteforce Save Data, download it and install it on your PC. Then using a USB Pen Drive / Flash Drive, insert it into the second USB port of your PS3 opposite the USB port of your game controller, scroll to the Game Save utility for PS3, find the game you want to copy the save over to the USB Flash Drive, and once copying is done move it over to your PC.

Once you have the copy of the game save of your game on PC, open it up using Bruteforce Save Data, and you can now decrypt the save and apply cheats to it using the built in cheats database. You can even resign (encrypt) your save to work on anyone PS3 as well, doesn't matter if it's OFW or CFW.

Be aware that some game saves have copy-protection on them, so some games that have game saves that are copy protected won't allow you to copy saves over to an external drive for backup like a USB Flash Drive.

Not all games have copy protection, and there are work-arounds to get around to backing up your games saves, one which involves having CFW installed on your PS3.

However the easiest way to get around this copy protection for some game saves, is to go check the sites I mentioned above, or just simply try Google, or use Bruteforce Save Data itself to directly download the game saves you need which have their copy protection already removed.

Also, a good tutorial exists on this site for Bruteforce Save Data from this forum thread here in case you missed seeing it on nextgenupdate.com: You must login or register to view this content.

You can also check the Faqs section from ps3cheating.net to look into more of the features of Bruteforce Save Data and what it can do right from the main page.

Hope this helps you out, and happy gaming!
