Probably your bluray drive

So i should swap a blueray drive? it was working before and there has been no damage to anything, aswell as you can run a ps3 without a blueray drive, it wont run the video what so ever.

Aint much to go on, what have you done as mentioned installed E3 , presume u ment a E3 hardware flasher , if so have you tried downgrading yet ? or is this the problem your getting after installing the clip and E3 and you have not attempted bin dumps or reflashing?

just thought id add ive downgraded 100+ ps3's and the problem youv got can be caused by many things so i need to know the extra info to try help you diagnose the problem

I have installed my e3 flasher correctly, that is fine, this problem is after the e3 flasher was installed and running, i havnt not jailbroken this ps3 yet or downgraded.

OK answer few more questions
did you install the update on the E3 ?....did you dump any bins yet ? .... do all the blue lights show on the front of the E3 ?....

the update on the e3 was already done, i tried to dump before then this happended when i got a dump error, yes they do now, shows that they work

when u made the dump did it give u a nor.bin & a tex file ? did the lights on the flasher blink on and off or did it show some lights on and some off as ile need to know the sequence of lights on and off or the files it dumped when it error'd to see what is amiss

some one mentioned Blue ray drive before , this wouldnt be the problem but the ribbon incorrectly clipped in could cause u problems and id advise disconecting the blu ray ribbon & power lead and then see if console turns on without it connect to remove that from the possible cause as the ps3 will boot up without it

No they blinked first one forth one and fifth constantly. It errored. So i fixed it now its like this
