I was jailbraking my second PS3:
CECH 2004B, OFW: 4.50
using this tutorial:

I was using E3 Linker and got my 3 nor dumps without errors.
Everything was great until I was updating with
Rogero 4.50 v1.01 CFW: You must login or register to view this content.
When I have put the Rogero on USB renamed it to PS3UPDAT.PUP,
first thing I noticed is that ( in video 18:45 ) it was update for 4.53
(and not Rogero !!!)
I continued forward...
got an update loop because BR was not in place, error 8002F14E
I have put the BR in place, everything went on normally.
Then I noticed that the welcoming screen had no Rogero watermark on it,
Strange, went into system info, it was saying 4.53 !!! WTF
Ok same USB same PS3UPAD.PUP from same USB, tried to update again,
but now it's saying it's Rogero 4.50, went forward, then it came:
The data is corrupted (8002F957)
What should I do next ?
1. Do a downgrade again just for 4.53 or
2. Write original NOR dump into Samsung chip
3. Write patched NOR into PS3

I didn't wanted to risk, so I read the nor again, now for 4.53 OFW, patched it, and wrote back to
Samsung NOR. Everything went ok.
Just wanted to ask, if in the future I would have similar problems can I write original OFW nor firmware back into the chip with no other modifications? It's like UNDO action?

Did you use the PS3 4.50 Flash Tools the first time?
By any chance did you have the internet on while updating?
It is very odd that you went to 4.53 the first time you updated and then second time it recognized that it was 4.50 Rogero.
My theory you had the internet on and it updated to OFW bro clearly.

Now you need to use the PS3 4.53 FLash tools bro since you're on 4.53OFW.
I would suggest that you dump again, repatch using the 4.53 Flash tools, and then install Habib 4.53CFW.
I would dump again just to make sure I'm still getting a solid dump and have a good solid connection before I reflash to the ps3.
And this time disable internet connection and remove any disc in the BR.

So were you able to downgrade? Yeah you can do that bro then you can just install OFW to undo everything bro.
