(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello NGU! I'm in need of help... I recently just updated my 80gb phat ps3 to a 500gb.. and I was running ps3ita 4.50 dex cfw on it and that's what I installed on the new hdd, I don't know if I had to do any steps before installing the cfw but all I did was in stall the 4.50 dex cfw without any steps going to 3.55 first or anything... and I seem to have some problems with stealth multiman 4.50.02.. I am trying to copy over some games that I have as a disk which are, COD Ghost, COD Black ops 2, COD mw3, Grand Theft Auto 5, Grand Turismo5 XL Edition, & Battle Field 4... I was able to install Black Ops 2 with no problems but when I got to GTA5 it freezes my ps3 and takes about 369mins to install... Please help... any help will be appreciated.

EDIT: and now im stuck in system file restore...

In System File Restore, can you reinstall the 4.50 DEX firmware?

From a logical standpoint, that is what I would do. Mainly because you flashed your PS3's memory to DEX format, and you only replaced the hard drive, so in theory, re-installing the exact firmware you were on before you swapped drives, should put you back to where you were.

Again, this is just a theory, and I hold no responsibility for the action you choose to do. If however it does work, then post it here so others who have the same issue can see it.

You could try Safe Mode and reinstall it if there's no other option.

It's a long shot, but can you access your PS3 through Target Manager while it's in Safe Mode? If you can, you can remotely format the hard drive and see if that helps.

Alright, then. I assumed your safe mode options were not working correctly.
