(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey i am here to ask for some help with my ps3. I was playing black ops 2 last night and for some reason my ps3 turned off and started blinking the red light. First thing i did was look up what this meant. Some people said its due to overheating. some other people said its because a part came undone or something like that. Most people said its done get a new one. Well i started watching youtube videos and i noticed most people rlod problem was more intense than mine like they would turn on there ps3 then it would immediately turn off and start flashing the red light, mines different on my ps3 i can run it for 5 to 7 mins before it turns off. Also i had a problem with my hard drive about a month and a half ago but i restored it and it works now. If you have any advise on how to fix besides sending it to sony that would be greatly appreciated.

If it's rlod try to boot it in safe mode and reinstall your CFW

YLOD will only get worse, will not start at all in a few weeks/days.

Back up data now,you can reflow ps3 to fix this but the problem always comes back.

I got a dex fat thats the same reflowed it 4 times then gave up on it as it breaks every week. You can get the ps3 reballed to fix this but not really worth it.

Just get rid of it a get a slim as its had it, you might get £30 on ebay for it if the warranty seal is intacted.

If your in UK i have slim 120gb for sale £125 or £135 if you want dex
