Post: Ps3 over heating problem please help

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi NGU I have a problem I have a dex 4.46 rebug PS3 and in about 5-15 min my ps3 shuts its self down all the way making it so I have to unplug the power cord then plug it back in for it to get power again so idk how to keep it cool I have try a lot of things to keep it cool it stays about 70c according to ccapi so I have put a fan on it at all times and put legos on the bottom to try to keep it cool but it still shuts down so please if you know how to help me please help me thanks

First a fan Wont help it i know i tried with mine. second go to the store and buy so thermal paste (i recommend Artick Silver 5) first open up the ps3 then remove the old thermal paste off of the RSX and CPU with 70% isopropyl alcohol then add the new thermal paste on and spread it all over both RSX and CPU and maybe the heat sink. if that doesnt help reply back
