Hey NGU, My PS3 has had this problem for about a month. First all i needed to do was blow the air out of it but now it's worse. My PS3 constantly pixelates then freezes. I replaced thermal paste and nothing worked but there is a capacitor with values on the top and it looks like the bottom is melted. Can this be my problem? I need any form of help. Thanks NGU

What type of PS3 do you have: Fat, Slim, Super Slim
If you have a Fat, I would suggest getting a laptop fan to cool it down. I would not suggest getting one of those fans which blow air into the PS3 as you could create air pockets and make the problem worse.
If you've changed the thermal paste, make sure it's a high quality one (Artic Silver 5) Bear in mind more is not always better, if you have too much thermal paste remove it. It should have a coating of the width of card paper.

Sounds like a dying rsx chip. I've had 1 or 2 PS3's die on me this way. You could always reball it but its difficult, I personally would buy a new ps3
Can you link me to a video that shows me how i can reball? This is a CFW so i do not want to buy another one
If what Nick said is true, you might as well buy another one. There is no point linking you to a video since you'll need to buy a lot of expensive equipment which includes
- PCB station, a good high quality one can cost around $300
- A heat gun, would cost around $60
- Minor equipment such as a reballing jig, Flux, Solder 60/40 etc...
- It'll probably run you around $1000 to get everything set up
You might as well send off your console to someone who can fix these issue. Would cost around $80 dollars much better than spending $1000.
Anyway I've linked this video below to show you the procedure of how it's done, it's not easy at all and takes time...
