Every downgrader pup comes back as "This update data is not supported on this system." . I have tried different flashdrives, updating to via disc PS3_UPDATE. Any help would be appreciated.

Basically it should take a downgrader, if it doesn't and you don't know what has caused it to lock up, you can reformat the hdd in hopes that it fixes whatever has caused it.

I had to back up all my games and data.. When installing the 3.55 DEX Downgrader it said no hard disk has been found sitting at the XMB, Installed Bozex 3.55 Other OS, changed mac, updated to 4.75 Rebug. When trying to install the downgrader again it copies to the HDD from the XMB like it should have in the first place. I guess a file on my HDD was corrupt where it wouldn't let me downgrade past 4.21+? I know I'm not the only one who has had this issue before. Now to transfer 200GB worth of games back over to the PS3. Thanks for the help.
