The X and O are reversed with the japan console just wondering how to change to normal

Are you on OFW or CFW? and couldnt you just change the language to english? or does that not fix it.

CFW stands for Custom Firmware aka a Jailbroken PS3. But have you looked through all the settings? I would try getting a U.S. PS3 instead maybe lol.

how do i know if its jailbroken hahaha and yeah i got a good deal on it its no big deal but normal controls would be better Upside Down Happy

You would know if its jailbroken it definitely isnt but if anything you could google it but it might be programmed into it to where you can't change it.
