I own a PS3 slim CECH-2104B. Using PSN for the time. Bought an extra but it seems to be dead since it is in demonstration mode and i don no how to get out of this.

If you read this and have suggestion i would like to know.

Hi.
I had another harddrive because my first one seems to make noise therefor i changed to a new 320GB HDD. But than i receive message which again asks for update with a 4.50 or higher version. When i now used the same usb which worked fine first time will not work on the new hard drive. But i made a mirror of my first noisy hdd to a new and put it back in ps3 it starts and ask for rebuild data. But rebuilding failed and it asks for formatting the system and now it is formatting. I am curios what the result will be since it is taking long time.
But anyone who can tell me why it will not run the same usb reverter update again this time on new 320 GB HDD?

After 10 hours it still show formatting 0%. What should i do? One thing I forget is that this time PS3 is not in demonstration mode.

Hi everyone.

It finally worked. I got into the service mode and tries every options rebuilding and restoring and than it worked fine.
