Post: PS3 wont turn on?

I am error
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So here is the problem... my power button doesnt work, i cant turn it on via controller because my ps3 was turned off by the back and i cant eject or put a disc in there because there is a disc in there but my ps3 beeps 3 times when i eject because it thinks there is no disc. Its a jailbroken fat ps3. What do i do (no opening of the console is preferred)

How did you use your PS3 before then?
Also connect your PS3 controller charger cable once you hook it up press the PS button on your controller that should turn your PS3 on.

No linked controller
and
power button is not functional?


Idk if this will work but you are welcome to give it a try:

1. Plug your controller into the console via usb
2. While holding and continuing to hold the eject button, flip the switch on the back to turn on the console.
This will hopefully power the ps3 but it is just a trick to air out the console.
3. You can then let go of eject. Press the psn button on the controller and try to connect it to the console at this point.
When it is finished it will turn off and blink red light, you will be forced to flip the switch in the back, off and then back on.
4. Press the psn button, hopefully it is linked and the console turns on


If that doesn't work then im certain there is no way. You will need to open the console and fix the tab to the power button, or solder a new tab to it.

Got it to turn on and got the disc to eject by holding the eject button and flipping the power switch off then back on
