Anyways I uhh lost my plug in cable..
I tried to use my old PS3 cables but as soon I plug it in and turn it on.. I get a message saying "The correct blah blah..."
Help???

Is it the plug I use?

OFW FROM CANADA(USING THAT CABLE TO PLAY)

Are you talking about the power cable that goes from your PS3 into a wall outlet or are you talking about the HDMI cable that goes from your PS3 to your TV? Either one should be fine as they are from North America so they're NTSC parts. Electronics from Europe are classed under PAL.

Buy a new one from eBay, it shouldn't cost you more than $3.
