Try to reinstall your cfw


1. On a fat32 formatted usb flash drive, create a folder named "PS3" (no quotes)
2. Inside the "PS3" folder, create a folder named "UPDATE"
3. Inside the "UPDATE" folder, place your "UPDAT.PUP" file
4. Insert the ps3 into the rightmost usb port of the ps3
5. Follow prompt and install


If your current cfw doesn't work, try to install a downgrader first, then reinstall your cfw.

do i need to have the flasher installed ? and will i loose all my backed up games on my hdd ?

You dont need the flasher installed and you wont lose your jailbreak.
