Can you you guys help me get me me save please, that has lots fo maxed out items, ammo, weapons and herbs etc. i already downloaded bunch of them from youtube, brewology.com etc etc. None of them or better yet my system either tells me that (I cannot use data from another profile and not loading anything unless i press cancel and go to main menu of the game and thus not getting getting with the game or it asks me to get patch 2.0 version for it it downloads but still doesn't see the save). I know there's way to go bypassing that cause i was able to do it (few years ago), sorry i forgot how. Can you guys guide please step by step, (if anyone out there be so kind to spare few mins of their time for that). Thank you so much. I know this message sounds like a desperate cry for help, its kinda of it is, cause i already exhausted all resources and still not getting anything.

euroman i m having the same problem as u last time . but actually that bruteforce is very good to use for save editing , if u r on official firm ware no modded custom firm ware ps3 that is [of coz not saying u cant use cfw but its very user friendly for ofw ps3] . really ez to use . i was quite confused at first too . but firstly u need to see what region of the save u r on . n if u r trying to resign to fit in ur ps3 profile , u need to rebuild the save with ur profile . first check the name of the save n confirm whether its the same region game u r playing or not . like npub npeb bljs bles blus npjb . if its different u need to go through a few steps . say if ur downloaded save is npub n u wanna change it to npeb , then u have to change/rebuild to ur profile first . so just ignore the region for the moment . take one of ur game save that u have in ur ps3 say like need for speed , then copy it to ur usb . download bruteforce n msvbvm50.dll [from microsoft is recommended] if u dont have it yet to run the bruteforce save data properly . after installing the bruteforce , plug ur usb in to ur com . make a back up of every game save that u have in ur usb on another folder so that u can use it when things go wrong . create a new folder call backup in ps3 folder . the original files would be in a/b/c/d/e/f : usb/ps3/savedata/ur game saves folder . after that u would want to open bruteforce . click ... to open game folders . ow n download the latest bruteforce at bruteforce save data forum . register there if u havent yet . update the cheat when bruteforce start up for the first time n download it when u r connected to the internet . open savedata folders to make things easier so that u can see a whole list of ur games . click on the need for speed . point ur mouse down to set profile . click it n choose use current param.sfo . thats ur profile data . ok then now go to ur game the one that u want to resign to ur profile . say u r playing resident evil 5 gold edition . now right click on the game n choose rebuild fully . then verify . now see the result below . sometimes it may fail due to games.conf not having the game save region that u want . but this is easy . most ppl dont know . right click on re5 choose download latest games.conf . but actually u need to check first what region u want to play on . what region is ur game on . so assuming ur downloaded one is npub n ur game disc or game inside ur ps3 or whatever is npeb , this is quite complicating but in fact is easy . when u finish download latest games.conf try to rebuild again . if it still fail . check the region . if the region of ur downloaded save is npub n u want to change it to npeb u need to open the games.conf first . u need to right click on re5 then choose settings then click open games.conf . it will open in text form . scroll down to see ur game re5 . i believe it has npub but no npeb . simple . just add it beside . this is what a lot of ppl miss . add it . all game r in the same format unless japanese games . so say urs is us u wanna change it to eu its easy . add npeb at the end of the sentence/line . u will see re5 disc hash key bla bla then npub1234/bljs2345 then add it beside . so it become npub1234/bljs2345/npeb1234 . close n save . go back to ur save folder re5 . right click it n rebuild it . by this time i believe everything will be ok . so now that u have it rebuild to ur profile . but this is isnt over . if ur region is different , then u have to open the param.sfo . just open it up . double click it . under save directory change it to ur region instead of npub or whatever its present there . so now u have npeb . click save . rebuild ur profile again . verify pfd . now u should have a complete ok . go to ur game save folder . f:/usb/ps3/savedata/npub . change it the name of the folder to npeb . this is for example only . it depends on ur region name . ok now done . enjoy . wait if u want to apply cheat u need to decrypt pfd decrypt all files . then cheats apply cheats . choose the cheats u want . click ok . it will close . encrypt pfd encrypt all files . verify pfd . everything should be ok . take note that there is no such thing as infinite unless the game has that mode registered in one of the mode say like battle mode or bla bla . if not the value of the save editing wont be able to change to inifinite coz its real time not static or whatever that is . it is impossible unless the game itself has provide it in One of the mode . lastly dont ever update the bruteforce with Ticking the clear n replace folder . coz what cheats or configuration that u have made will be gone n it will be troublesome do it again . if u know how to make ur own cheat be the guess . its not that hard . i manage to make a fire extinguisher in code veronica x . wahaha that was awesome even though its such an old game . hex editing or save editing is really ez if u know how to do it . coz its all numbers n values only . no programming involved . maybe just a bit of scripting if its complex . but no matter how hard it is it wont involve programming , that is what i like about save editing . very usefull for ofw ps3 . good luck n have fun . actually making ur own cheat is not hard too . u just have to know the address/offset of the item or status . thats the hard part of finding it actually . need to wait for ppl to post it . or u can find on ur own lolz . but up till now i still dont know whats the use of bruteforce option if u dont have any key at all lmfaozness . the bruteforce option will still light up even if u do not have any key or information about the game . there is one last thing to take note . if ur game save is copy prohibited there is only 2 ways u can get it out . either u have a cfw which u can go to file manager which works like windows gui [graphic user interface n extract the folder manually cut n paste to ur usb drive] . or u upload it to ur playstation + . then ask one of ur friend or anyone who has the cfw n log in to ur account n extract the save . other than that u r out of luck . there is no way u can extract copy prohibited game save on a ofw ps3 . ftp however is a redundant method when u can use file manager like multiman . please use psnninja n psn patch to spoof ur cfw b4 going online or else u wont like the result lolz . n i heard that cex cfw is more stable than dex cfw . unless u r into hardcore editing then i suggest u get a cex cfw if u r planning on getting one .
