Hey the new 160gb ps3 still comes with 3.40 and all u need is the update 3.41 which is easy to get. But this wont last for long i bought mine in sept and it was good...... Another way is to go to the pawn shop if you ask them to test it in front of you you can check to see what fw is on it i did that too the bad thing is that the ones i found were backward ps3 that played the ps2 games so they wanted big bucks for them...after that lets be smart ppl so many ppl are selling ps jailbreaks for big bucks some that dont even work go out to pawn store and buy a ti 84 plus cost is around ($30-$40)to jailbreak with it works soooooooo much easyer and i have 4 different jailbreaks this buy far is the best in my eyes. let me know if this helps.
