I know I need Filezila etc. just where do I put the games?

If using external hardrive make sure its fat32 format and make a folder called GAMES or GAMEZ on the root of the drive.
If using filezila locate dev_hdd0/ then make a folder called GAMES or GAMEZ and put them in that folder.

then how do you play them on the ps3?

Your system needs to be jailbroken, and then you just need to select the games within the backup manager(e.g. Gaia Manager, Multiman etc).

but when i select a game it sends me to the main ps3 screen or "xmb"

do u need KMEAW? I don't know what cfw my ps3 is (on account that i bought it off ebay) but is there a way I can find out? if it even matters. or can someone give me a backup manager that works for all cfw's

Just put any disc in the PS3, and select the backup game in your backup manager. Now on your disc icon on the XMB will be your pirated game. Click that and voila!

check or make a folder called GAMEZ and use latest multi man instead also extract the torrent till it says bles or blus delete ps3 update folder when putting first folder name it the game name and number like blus.. or bless.. also in side this folder name it PS3_GAME in side this copy everything when done enjoy
