Today im buying a ps3 which has the 3.55 update on it (Jailbroken (fat) ). And i also got a ps3 with the update 3.61 (normal ps3 (fat) ). I was wondering if i could transfer patches from my 3.55 to the 3.61 trough data transfer utility.

Heres the questions,

Does my normal ps3 require anything specific to be able to do this?

Does my Jailbroken ps3 require anything specific except of it being jailbroken to do this?

Does it need to be a specific type of jailbreak? or can i use any of the types of jailbreaks?

Do i need to spoof it or something?

Anything i missed out that i didn't mention in the thread?

BTW.. I've seen other threads n shit of people asking about data transfer before. i saw a reply of a guy saying something with OFW,CFW RETAIL REBUG etc. What is that? tht's whats making me worried of the data transfer not working. so could u explain what this means.

Rebug is a 3.55 CFW, and data transferring will work fine on it provided you don't mess about w/ the Rebug Selector. Even then there's a very quick fix most people aren't aware of, so nothing to worry about! :bro:
