I really need some help..

Sadly when the new mw2 update came out i updated without thinking :jim: .. I own two ps3, one which has firmware 3.55 ( brand new slim version ) is there any chance of adding a modded patch? Or would the console have to be played online before you could add them?..

I've tried adding one but it does nothing, but i also noticed from some research that when people use file manager or filezilla they have 4 or 5 files where the modded patch goes, where is on my new console i have none..

If anyone can help me out and get the modded file back running ill pay £10 to there paypal or $15 dollars US..

There is no 3.54 firmware.

If you got 3.55 just install a CFW (like kmeaw) and install a FTP (like blackbox) and copy your patch via a FTP program (like FileZilla).

Hi, thanks for the reply.. I've done the above tho with a few different patches, yet nothing happens.. That's why i wondered if the new console would need to be played online first to get them other files, but only way to put it online would be to update to 3.61

hi bud you got team viewer i can help you out and show you how it done and ps make sure the patch your trying to use is the right patch like i have mw2 game which is bles 00683 so my patch has to be that one and have you put the game in and download the 1.12 update and i use zilly just go to game>oo683 code on side of box for mw2>usrdir>then place patch in there patch_mp.ff

The only thing out of that i haven't done is downloaded the 1.12 patch.. Do you think that is the reason why it could not be working?

yes put the game into you 3.55 jailbroken ps3 and start the game it ask you to download the latest update then end game when done go to ftp start it up the go change the patch make sure it the same patch region as your game then your done bud

ok bud it will work

Go to game data, and check the mw2 patch, if it says 1.12, delete it. Find a .pkg version of the 1.11 patch, and install it on your ps3, then FTP the patch over. Your probably trying to use a 1.11 mp file on a 1.12 mw2 patch.
