Has anyone else tried this cause I have? I played a UK region game on my US region PS3
Here’s proof: You must login or register to view this content.
Because this is my UK SAVEDATA that has exactly what my US SAVEDATA has. In other words I played and saved this on my US region PS3.

It can only play PS3 Blu-Ray games because they are "Region free"
PS1 games "Region locked"
PS2 games "Region locked"
Blu-Ray Movies "Region locked" meaning the PS1/PS2/BluRay movie have been assigned a specific Region code whatever so it would only play for that PS3 Region.

Here's a source that lists what Blu-Ray movies that are region free and which are not.

Here’s something interesting things about the PS3: You must login or register to view this content.

My point is, it be cool to make the PS3 region free of all Blu-Ray disks games/movies etc...
My other point is that there is this method I found. Here's what it lets me do: It lets me play any region game on my PS3 for example: If it is an EU region game I can play it on my US region gamedisk/US region PS3! So maybe I can make this work with other Blu-Ray disks like Blu-Ray DVD's so I can watch any Blu-Ray disk that's region locked on my PS3! Here’s a method released to public: You must login or register to view this content. this is not the method I did though.
I don't know if other people have discovered this method I know of, and if they have I don't know if there is a TUT on it, but I’m not releasing a TUT or say how to do it because it might be against SONY's PS3 agreements whatever and I don't want to get SUED nor go to jail just for messing around with the PS3.

Depends where you get it from, I can get a 1080p BD Copy in about 2-3 hours.

And about the Memory, 1TB Hard Drives aren't too much nowadays. Awesome face

What do you mean by convert a game into another region? So that the save game or DLC of another region will work? Because i dont see any other point to it other than that

Yes do you know how?
