This is really specific. Which Assassin's Creed? And no one cares if you pirated it.
Once you download it, place the files in a folder with its game code, if it doesn't uncompile already in one, use Google to find it if you want. It actually doesn't matter what code you put its just more convieniant if you use the real one, because if you do gamedata trophy hacks that need CFW to go (hdd0/home/00001/gamedata/), the game code will be what it actually is, and if you are searched for the code you named the file as, you won't find it which may cause confusion.
I don't know what site you downloaded it from, so please specify, PM me it if you want, I'm sure that you can link to the site, just not to the actually warez links on open threads, but I'm not 100% on it. Premium section and PMs are exempt from rules about Warez.
I also have never heard of just using a .ISO file. I remember I downloaded a game and it was like that aswell, I used Winrar and selected it to allow it to unrar .ISO files and I got the correct game file format. The only time you would use a .ISO I would think is if you were to actually burn it to a DVD (which PS3's won't run games off), or a Blu-Ray disc, which also wouldn't work.
