(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); If I bought a harddrive with 3.55 OFW installed on it would I be able to put it into my PS3 without losing the firmware or data? Instead of buying a whole new ps3 on 3.55 or below would it be easier to just buy the hard drive?

OMG read other threads before you post. The firmware is not stored anywhere on the hard drive it is on the NAND
