I've seen those silly things around on PSN comments. Reminds me of 8 year olds. I'm sure it's just an exploit using a USB keyboard via your PS3 controller. As far as data transferring, no. You format your HDD, so whatever you have there, will not be on 3.66. :y:

1 Turn on your PS3, start up blackb0x FTP.

2 On your PC, start up FileZilla, connect to your PS3's IP address (use port 21)

3 Navigate to: /dev_hdd0/home/########/friendim/ (where "#" is simply a random number)
The number of the profile you're using corresponds to whenever you made that account on your PS3, so if you only have 1 account on your PS3, and you've never made another one, there will be one folder, and it'll be "00000001". So, just figure out which one is the PSN you want to edit. If you don't want to figure it out on your own, just delete the profile on your PS3, make a new one, and sign up for the PSN on that new account. Add in a sample comment, like "test"

4 Look for a file called "mecomment.dat", open it up with HxD

5 On the right side of HxD, there is a text input area, which will either have "test" written in it (if you put test like I told you to) or a bunch of "..."

6 Just type in whatever you want your comment to be - theres a limit of 63 characters

7 Save the file, upload the file onto the FTP (drag & drop into FileZilla) and overwrite the existing "mecomment.dat" file

8 Back on your PS3, simply hold down the PS Button, and restart your PS3.

9Turn your PS3 back on and take a peek at your handy new comment.
