Just bored today and well let me say I go back all the way from the 3.41 JB and below.

Here is my story...
Well along time ago in 2007 my PS3 YLOD, i kept reviving it with a reflow and gave up and bought a new PS3.
As of now I have reflowed my 1st PS3 and only use it for about 20 min if its on and so far no YLOD
Well at least of what i know, last time I used it was about a year ago with my calculator to JB it, to transfer my data to 2nd PS3 for....

MW2 CL, I was one of the first to host and to use them in discrete for my own purpose like if the opposing team was 1vs6 I would give him invisibility and people would not know it was CL but a real good player, I wasn't a deranker or ranker ) I quit when MW2 was over runned with CL from geohotz and pretty much everyone was hacked or deranked.


And just came back wondering whats happened ?

I remember that Sony sent me an Email saying that they will ban my PS3 from online if I dont delete the content thats inside it.
And well I did and nothing ever happened well at least with my 2nd PS3, I havent used my 1st PS3 for online play or turned it on for 1.5 years.

Has anyone got banned from PS3 like many said they would?
Any new JB that allowed anything besides the 3.5 custom FW?
Has MW2 CL's disappeared?(or is it like 100/1000 have em?)
Could I still JB game data transfer to my 3.7 ps3?

Well umm yeah only 1/10 people stayed o 3.55 or 3.41 and im sure sony has stopped cfw on the new firmwares... Unless some how some one gets the keys.. But no dev is looking for the keys.. So the only way to host cl's is to data transfer but its only a limited time till they patch that and they patch the bypass and it will be gone for good

As far as I know, nobody was ever been banned. I know that some people got banned for hacking (modding) some games like CoD Black Ops (well at least for playing online that game). And I also know that many people got banned over PSN for racism and other "bad" words, but this was (and is) only temporary. I also got this message from sony before, but nothing happened to me either. Well, I have updated my console to 3.66 and now I am on 3.70 OFW. I dont think that I need a JB in any form anymore.

That's nice to know.
So I could still host CL if I wanted to but it's just not fun and im used to playing normal now.
I have to agree JB has gotten worse on you guys, since 3.5+ and I dont mind it going away.
