so long story short i downgraded / upgraded the ps3 to the modded 3.41 firmware which when you try to update in recovery mode says > 3.56 FW But trust me its 3.41 says in system info. Now my problem is - I cant update to official 3.55 so then i can go to CFW,

ive looked at several websites and they say to put the lv2diagself 1 with the firmware you want in my case 3.55 and do the downgrade and if any of you guys know the green light on your ps3 will flash after about 5 mins then turn off. my ps3 wont turn off and when i check the updater log on the usb it says failed in places. so i was wondering if any you brainy people can help me Upgrade to official 3.55 after a 3.41 downgrade ? cheers Fellas <3 x

UPDATE through recovery menu, look for a tutorial on how to do so. that should work {;

it wont work mate cos when i go into recovery mode since the firmware is a modded 3.41 (to allow the downgrade it tricked the ps3 into thinking it was updating to 3.56) so when i go to revovery mode it wont let me update to 3.55 only to 3.56 or greater :/ LOL but its defo on 3.41

Why don´t you install 3.41 Original firmware

Ive tired mate, but it wont let me downgrade to it? the green light just flashes for ages and wont turn off like its supposed to
