i downloaded a rebug spoof 3.70 for mine 3.55 ps3 so i can transfer data between me online 3.70 and mine 3.55 but befor i will do the transfer i was wondering about some things i cared about

after i transferd data to mine 3.55 will it still be 3.55 (i geuss so but wanna know for sure)
befor i can do the transfer he will ask me to format the internal hdd so i will loos all the stuff can i easely bring them back witk the update on my storage?

i wonder about those things cuz know the ps3 things its 3.70 but that will be gone to after the format right? will it still think its 3.70 after i format or will it says its 3.55 again i hope someone knows what im trying to say and got some anwsers for me

when you data transfer to the the spoofed 3.55 everything you have on the 3.70 will go with it..thats why it asks u to format the hard drive so it can copy everything that u are about to transfer without anything extra..and if u using the spoofer right it should say ur 3.55 is 3.70 already even before the tranfer..so dont worry about updating..the only way to update is if u click sytem update which u do not want to do..lol

Mostly what ^^techmods said, but I'd like to add that in reply to the bit in bold the firmware isn't affected at all by data transferring. So once you've spoofed your CFW PS3 to 3.70, you'll need to undo that manually in order for the PS3 to return to 3.55(i.e. un-spoofed).

Hi clutch, listen ive been looking around the forums for a 3.70 spoofed pup for data transferring between online and my CFW ps3. Is there any spoofed firmwares other then rebug that you know of ? I know Rebug is a more superior firmware as opposed to Kmeaw type CFW but ive never been a fan of it (i had it on a previous ps3)

Well you don't need the Rebug CFW to use their 3.70 spoof. There's a spoof an NGU member released. He actually created it on his own custom firmware, and released it here> You must login or register to view this content.

Thanks Forsaken i currently have it installed and it doesnt allow data transferring for whatever reason even though its a 3.66 spoofed pup. It asks me to update but most spoofed firmwares (other then rebug) the links are dead.

Never heard of that. I assume his CFW works. I don't transfer anything from my OFW PS3 to my CFW PS3. So I wouldn't know, but I promise, in the Hacks section, there are always threads in there to be most helpful. :y:

hey guys i have prob sum1 help plz............kk i have my 3.55 cfw ps3 and 3.70 ofw ps3 on my 3.55/user i dont have my psn account detail in the user ..if i was to data transfer from 3.70 ofw ps3 to 3.55 cfw ps3 wud it transfer the user on my 3.70 and my psn account details to the 3.55 ps3 please help be well appreicated thanks guys

Well, it *should* transfer your 3.70 accounts and all their PSN details yes.

And you'll need a 3.70 spoofer for your 3.55 CFW in order to transfer back
