(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); so my jailbroken ps3 cant read disks cause of its blu ray laser of something like that... i really dont care if it reads disks or not. my problem is that it cant read homebrew it just gives me a black screen... so im wondering if i get the blu ray drive fixed, will it let me run homebrew without getting a black screen? Also if u really wanna help can you tell me what causes a ps3 to get a black screen upon loading homebrew.

What FW are you on and if you get a black screen you basically have to do a restore to OFW I believe. I don't know the exact details why but I believe this is the only solution.

You don't need a disc for homebrew. I think you are talking about playing games without disc.
