use 3.41 download signed 3.41 ftp. Go on on mw2 section get a patch. go on youtube how to put patch or there tut on ngu.

Go to any local retail store and buy one. If it's higher than 355, just return it and try a different store. Pawn shops might have them.
There is no other way without modifying the inside of your PS3.
