Well this also does sound very noobish but im trying to be helpfull, If u r using an hdmi cable and did the 3.72/3,55 thing it could be set back to av cable's (happend to me ) just plug av cables in and it should work and set back to dmi

How long you had the PS3? Was it getting hot? Could be Green Light of Death. Thats where the main processor is fine, but the graphics chip has lost contact to the motherboard. Therefore, no picture at all. Not sure if the recovery menu will show still or not. But this is another possible solution anyway...

nope its allright now i installed 3.55 ofw and then re-installed 3.55 cfw so it works now thanks for the help guys
