The problem with this is that no one has any idea how the PS3 discovers whether what it's connected to via ethernet is a PS3 or not, not to mention in data transferring the receiving PS3 gets completely reformatted (destroying all data) which raises multiple problems, the biggest is that it may detect the file system being used and if it's encrypted (in this case PS3's have a weird encryption) so it may detect that that is also not correct and cancel the data transfer (if anyone ever even gets that far).
In other words, more than likely not going to happen unfortunately.
